About the Role
As a Medical Coder, you will analyze medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes. This role plays a vital part in healthcare documentation, billing, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert healthcare documentation into ICD-10 CM and CPT codes
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines
- Review medical records for completeness
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Follow healthcare coding standards and policies
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy
